- Use a healthy branch to support a weak branch.
- Put a stick near the centre of the plant and loosely tie the weak stems to it.
- Give each weak branch its own support.
- Use camouflaged supports such as wooden sticks or leaf-green coloured splints. If your plant is prepared to reveal its weakness, then try a brightly coloured fishing rod or pointer.
- Hold the branches of your plant up like a puppet with strings attached to the ceiling.
- Tie weak branches to the wall or a piece of furniture nearby.
- Never use material which can cut, such as fishing line. It's better to use soft materials such as flaxen rope or a decorative strip of floral fabric.
