How to make toast with goat's cheese, figs and edible flowers
Heat a saucepan on the stove. Once the pan is hot, turn the heat down to low.
Lightly spread the underside of the bread with butter. Spread the goat's cheese (or other cheese) over the top and toast the bread for about 3 minutes in the pan on a low heat, giving the bread a nice crunch.
Cut the figs into wedges and squash them gently over the goat's cheese. Put the lid on the pan and let the bread toast for another minute.
