DIY Tip: from cabinet to greenhouse

Create a fantastic Peperomia display!

Peperomia is known for its many types of fabulous foliage. Green, variegated, round, pointed, stripy - there’s nothing that Peperomia can't provide. And there’s no better way to show off all that beauty than in a proper showcase. Transform an old cabinet to combine old and new, sustainable and green, and embrace the circle trend which is everywhere in the interiors world right now. Upcycling has never been so casually chic (hipster optional).

How to make it:

1

Carefully remove the back from the cabinet and replace it with plexiglass. Carefully secure this with nails around the whole back.

2

Cut round holes in the cabinet's shelves from where the terracotta pots can hang. The diameter of the hole must therefore be slightly smaller than the top of the pot.

Place the peperomias in the pots and distribute them across your new indoor greenhouse. Combine contrasting leaf shapes to give a nice and lively display. The advantage is that the humidity will be regulated naturally, so the plants will require less watering in their new botanical display case.
