The Kokedama is a ball of moss and soil suspended in the air, with a beautiful ornamental plant growing out of it. How to make a Kokedama: a step-by-step guide
- Place a piece of moss on a table with the green side up.
- Wet the floral foam and place it in the middle of the moss.
- Poke the metal wire through the floral foam and make a hole for the string, so you can hang the ball.
- Place some potting soil around the floral foam.
- Fold the moss up and over the floral foam, creating a ball.
- Wrap the nylon thread around the ball creating a net that holds it all together.
- Make holes in the ball with the metal wire and stick the stem of the plant cuttings in the holes.
- Spray your floating plants with water and hang them up to enjoy the summer!
