You’ve got your mules ready, the summer dress is swishing but what do you do with your hair? Finish your outfit with a handmade floral hair clip, that’s what. Or better yet, build your outfit around it. Slide the clip into tumbling locks, a relaxed top-knot or funky ponytail. And don’t worry: you don’t need to water the flowers whilst you’re wearing them!
You will need
- Hair clips
- Green wire
- Beautiful flowers
How to make the hair clips with flowers
- Arrange the flowers to suit. It’s easiest if you secure some of the stems on the left-hand side of the clip and some on the right-hand side.
- Secure the flowers by winding the wire around the stems and through the clip. Make it easier for yourself by doing this for 3 or 4 stems at a time rather than each individual stem.
- Twist the ends of the wire together.
- Trim the stems so they’re not visible.
